Job Role:  Demobilisation Coordinator

Location: Luton   

Job Sector: Business Development

Hours: 35 hours per week

As the Demobilisation Coordinator, you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:

  • Working within the Demobilisation Team to project manage lost schemes being transferred out of the business.
  • Liaising with all departments within FirstPort to ensure we are ready to handover schemes in line with ARMA guidelines.
  • Tracking the demobilisation process to ensure target dates are met and escalating potential problems to ensure deadlines are met.

This role reports to the Demobilisation Manager.

About You

You have experience of working in property management and understand the principle aspects of landlords and tenants act.

Being customer focused means you are continually aiming to improve service and exceed customer expectations.

As you are extremely organised you are able to meet tight deadlines and have excellent administration skills and knowledge of MS Office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that new agents are kept up to date with the transfer process and being first point of contact for communications into FirstPort.
  • Conducting exit interviews with clients to establish reasons for ending management with FirstPort and reporting on this to Demobilisation Manager.
  • Providing internal communications so all FirstPort teams are aware of management being lost and the deadlines that need to be met for the transfer of management.
  • Tracking progress of demobilisations in line with ARMA guidelines and escalating when deadlines may be missed to Demobilisation Manager.
  • Chairing regular conference calls with internal departments throughout the demobilisation process.
  • Oversee the effective maintenance of departmental databases.
  • Issue company memos at key points to inform the wider business of demobilisation progress.
  • Compiling regular reports for distribution to the department and wider business.
  • Update and ensure accuracy of CRM system and other databases.
  • Management of communal mailboxes.
  • To carry out any other reasonable requests/duties made by the business and/or your Line Manager.
