Job Role: Learning and Development Delivery Partner

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Delivery Partner to join us, and they will play an integral role in helping FirstPort achieve their vision

You’ll help us to do this by –

  • Designing, delivering and evaluating blended learning solutions aligned to business priorities that measurably improve the skills and competence of colleagues
  • Ensuring all new employees are given a warm welcome and an effective induction experience
  • Supporting the design and delivery of impactful leadership and management development interventions that promotes high performing teams
What life is like as a Learning and Development Delivery Partner?  

This role will report directly into the Head of Learning and Development, and no two days will be the same.  You will;

  • Collaborate with wider HR team and in particular HR Business Partners to ensure learning solutions are aligned to business needs and challenges
  • Design and deliver range of learning interventions using a range of methods including face to face, virtual, online e-learning and managers’ toolkits.
  • Design and deliver of a suite of soft skills workshops that are aligned to business strategy as well as supporting personal growth
  • Develop engaging and supporting on-line eLearning materials and workshops across key skill and management positions
  • Support the design and delivery of a range of leadership and management development activities at all levels
  • Establish clear return on investment measures for all learning interventions, developing data and metrics that support this
  • Contribute to building the skills and capabilities of colleagues in order to create high performing teams
  • Support the development of career pathways from key skill through to management positions

We are looking for great people who are : 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Learning and Development professional with a proven track record in the practical delivery and application of leadership and management development theories and practices.

  • A confident facilitator who is comfortable running engaging behavioural workshops for all levels
  • Experienced in developing concepts and design of engaging learning interventions using a range of methodology.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to deliver to both small and large groups – virtual and classroom based and be experienced in management theories articulated into practical application.
  • Experienced in making improvements in performance at organisation, team and individual level through learning and development actions you have taken.
  • Able to engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Working knowledge of the apprenticeship framework
  • Knowledge of competence frameworks
  • Ideally, you will have experience of creating e-learning modules using authoring tools such as Adapt, Articulate or Captivate
  • Ideally CIPD L5 qualified or equivalent
