Job Role:      Property Administrator

Location:      Edgware, North London

Job Sector:   Large & Complex

Salary:         £21,000 - £24,000

Hours:          Monday – Friday 8.00am -4.00pm       

 

As the Property Administrator you will contribute to our vision of being the UK’s favourite property manager by:

  • Provide a high standard level of customer service to our residents and all visitors to the development
  • Act as main point of contact at the front desk
  • Assist with on-site deliveries, customer queries and service requests

 

The Property Administrator reports directly into the Building Manager

 

About You

You will have experience working in a similar role in a fast paced and demanding environment. You will be highly organised with a good all-round understanding of building maintenance, staff management and health & safety compliance. You will be motivated, driven and a quick thinker who can easily build good relationships with a wide range of people. You will use your expertise to come up with innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for any resident enquiries, answering all incoming calls and responding to emails.
  • Providing excellent customer services to leaseholders and residents.
  • Managing the contractors log and arranging access
  • Obtaining contractor maintenance quotes
  • Managing the logbook for staff absences and holidays
  • Raising orders, including working out the correct allocation to the schedule and apportionment and then seeking approval via the BM.
  • Producing block notices and letters for a number of site issues, such as: Breach of Lease, BBQ’s, parking etc
  • Taking minutes when required at Board meetings or site meetings
  • Attending the weekly Monday site staff and end of week meetings
  • Registering staff absences and sickness
  • Printing reports for the ADMs from MySight system
  • Maintaining the Handyman register of works, place tasks in the log from residents’ calls / emails
  • Statutory lift line inspections, weekly fire call point inspections, weekly emergency light flick testing
  • Helping staff with e-learning training modules
  • Any other task to support the administration of the office.

 

Skills and Experience

Demonstrable experience of delivering an exceptional customer service.

Confident, articulate communicator – both orally and in writing; able to build relationships with all types of customer and client with a resolution focused mentality, creative in your approach.

Able to work with autonomy and as part of a wider team

Efficient in maintaining administration and record keeping electronically

Demonstrable ability dealing with problems and challenges effectively.

Good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.

Ability to work under pressure deadlines, able to prioritise and manage time effectively.

Excellent IT skills, social-media awareness and up to date with new technology.
