Job Role:  Executive Property Manager (Ref 6861)

Location: Field based – Managing a portfolio in London

Job Sector:  Blenheims – A FirstPort Company 

Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

As Executive Property Manager you will:

  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of Property Managers.
  • To deputise in the absence of the Regional Operations Manager and/or Regional Operations Manager

The Executive Property Manager reports to the Regional Operations Manager and/or Operations Director

Main Responsibilities

  • To manage all day to day operational matters within the teams portfolio
  • To monitor staff performance within the department and hold regular one to one meetings
  • To ensure that reports and tasks are delivered on time across the team
  • To ensure that property management complaints are dealt with swiftly in accordance with Blenheims Complaints Procedure
  • To oversee the management of the portfolio to a high standard
  • Oversee the service charge billing and collection process
  • Present at draft budget meetings each year
  • Manage overall control of costs within assigned portfolio and authorise all additional expenditure throughout the year
  • Encourage, support, and attend resident association meetings in order to gain an understanding of resident issues, and attend and present at customer meetings where needed

About You

You will have gained significant experience of working within residential block management, and will have obtained an Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM – parts 1 and 2) qualifications.

You will have experience of working effectively within a Senior Management team.

You will already have proficient knowledge of Health & Safety, and be able to identify issues within a building.  You will have knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation standards in this field. You will also be extremely knowledgeable of RICS and ARMA guidelines.

An excellent and effective communicator with the ability to explain complex issues, you will also be have excellent IT skills, be proficient in using MS Office packages, and be confident in learning new systems.

You will be a self-starter, organised and methodical when dealing with multiple tasks, with the ability to plan and manage your working day, while ensuring deadlines are met.
